A data acquisition subsystem of water saving irrigation based on wireless digital transmission is introduced. The nRF903 single chip RF transceiver was employed to modulate and demodulate the transfer of data. The system is made up of two separate parts: collection and reception. The collection part digitalizes the signal from the sensor and disseminates it using wireless digital transmission technology. At the reception part, the data is received, saved and displayed. The system's hardware and software are described, and the experimental results indicate that the system is reliable and suitable for those testing situations with unavailable cable connection.
