Abstract:

This paper discusses the history and regulations in reclaimed water use in New South Wales, Australia. The water reclamation and reuse projects conducted from different areas in New South Wales involving agriculture are presented: Shoalven regional effluent management scheme, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo, Armidale, Albury, Narrabi, Sydney Olympics water recycling and management scheme, Coffs harbour, Taronga zoo, Ulan mine waste water, Emu Plains Correctional Centre Dairy, and Albury paper mill.
