In order to study the limit of water stress effect on yield of 18 selected lentil genotypes, irrigation was stopped in all plots after 50% flowering and then irrigation was interrupted until the harvest stage in Iran. In the stress experiment, irrigation was interrupted after 50% flowering. With the study of drought indices, stress tolerance index and geometric mean productivity had positive and significant correlation at 1% level with yield in drought and normal conditions and, based on both indices, Naeen and Shiraz7 genotypes showed the highest tolerance than other genotypes. Principal components analysis showed that the 2 components explained 82.94% of the variation.
