GOV. JOHN Hickenlooper made a great suggestion the other day: “I’d like to see the state conserve so much that the water is not so valuable, and that it is going to be available for farming and ranching forever.”
Speaking to the Colorado Ag Water Alliance in Denver, the governor said, “My job is to see that we hold water up front and center to those in urban areas, so they realize how dependent we are on agriculture and the rural areas…”
