Arkansas Valley Conduit project gets push from water conservancy district

Rocky Ford, Colo. – The Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District Wednesday committed $400,000 over a three year period to a Memorandum of Understanding for the Environmental Impact Study now in progress. The EIS is the first step toward the construction of the long-awaited Arkansas Valley Conduit, which will furnish purer drinking water to the cities and towns of the Arkansas Valley.
