IMAGES of dead and dying red gums in the Murray Valley are all too often wrongly blamed on agriculture. And these community attitudes are an understated threat to the irrigation industry, according to Kaye Dalton. Kaye, who is Water for Rivers project director, said there was growing community concern about river health and the role of irrigation as a large water user.
