Planting delayed by moisture

Although crop planting for the 2010 growing season is a little delayed due to muddy fields, local farmers are not too worried about it. That means topsoil moisture is good, which may mean having to use less irrigation water to get crops started, said Extension Agent Marlin Eisenach.
