Shaffer wants Boulder to provide water to Weld farmers; Weld commission still wants wells to pump

Two days after Gov. John Hickenlooper said the state’s constitution barred him from allowing some farmers to pump more water out of their wells, the Weld County commissioners shot back, and Colorado Senate President Brandon Shaffer joined the debate.
