St. Paul produce distributor Jim Hannigan has always loved tomatoes and has often wondered what it would be like to grow them instead of just sell them. He’s about to find out. Hannigan, the 69-year-old president and CEO of J&J Distributing, has teamed with the city of St. Paul and New York-based BrightFarms LLC to develop a 38,000-square-foot hydroponics facility just off Rice Street and Como Avenue.
