Ask any farmer how he is and he’ll tell you about the weather. Here in the San Luis Valley, the monsoons are upon us, so we’re finally wet — very wet. For farmers here in the Upper Rio Grande Basin it’s way too wet for harvest time and far too late to capture those high flows which, by law, we must let rush on by, headed downstream to Texas and Mexico.
