ROCKY FORD – Recent rainfall in the Lower Arkansas Valley has buoyed farmers’ hopes but also caused some concern. Wilma Trujillo, the southeast area agronomist with the Colorado State University Extension Service, said the rain came far too late in the season to make much of an impact on crops currently being harvested.
